The article "Amazonas de derechos" explores the legal status of the Amazon River as it flows through different countries with varied legal systems. In Ecuador, the tributaries of the Amazon have legal rights according to the 2008 Constitution, while in Peru and Brazil, the river is considered an inanimate object of legal regulation. A Recreational Swimming Intervention during the Whole School Year Improves Fitness and Cardiometabolic Risk in Children and Adolescents with Overweight and Obesity
The benefits of swimming as a treatment for overweight children are undefined. We investigated the effects of recreational swimming on cardiometabolic risk in children/adolescents with normal and excess weight.
