  • Enhancing End-user Engagement in Human–Robot Interaction by Performing LLM-driven Expressive Behaviors

Open Access•Shipeng Lyu, Fang Wang et al.•ARTICLE•ACM Transactions on Human-Robot…•2026

We introduce a novel framework with strong generalization capabilities for enabling humanoid robots to perform semantically grounded, context-aware, and physically realizable expressive behaviors, with the goal of enhancing end-user engagement in open-world human–robot interaction (HRI). To achieve this goal, we develop a new large language model–based human cognition module that interprets user dialogs to infer latent intent and generates high-l…

  • Therapeutic potential of elema-1,3,7(11),8-tetraen-8,12-lactam from Curcuma wenyujin on diabetic retinopathy via anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic pathways

Open Access•Yuan Cai, Hongfeng Tu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Does Digital Capability Promote Sustainable Development of New Ventures? The Dual Impact of Green Knowledge Creation and Green Pressure

Open Access•Zhuge Kai, Weiwei Lin et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2023

With the environmental problems brought about by the extensive economic development model attracting more and more global attention, sustainable development has become a hot topic in transformation and development of contemporary enterprises. In the context of the digital economy, there is a lack of conclusive evidence regarding whether and how enterprises rely on digital capabilities to improve green efficiency and achieve sustainable developmen…

  • Evaluating the paleoclimatic significance of clay mineral records from a late Pleistocene loess-paleosol section of the Ili Basin, Central Asia

Open Access•Yue Li, Yougui Song et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2018

In this study, we present clay mineral records from a late Pleistocene loess-paleosol sequence in the Ili Basin, Central Asia, and assess their significance for paleoclimatic reconstruction. The results show that the clay minerals are mainly illite (average 60%) and chlorite (28%), with minor kaolinite (9%) and smectite (3%). Illite was of detrital origin with no obvious modification to its crystal structure. Increases in illite content in the lo…

  • Neuroprotective effects of the Chinese Yi-Qi-Bu-Shen recipe extract on injury of rat hippocampal neurons induced by hypoxia/reoxygenation

Open Access•De-shan Liu, Deshan Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2013

  • Key Issues for Implementation of Chinese Open Government Information Regulations

    Open Access•Suzanne J Piotrowski, Yahong Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Public Administration Review•2009•References: 8

The Chinese context is in many ways fundamentally different from other countries where freedom of information laws and regulations are currently implemented. The authors, Suzanne Piotrowski, Yahong Zhang, and Weiwei Lin of Rutgers University – Newark, and Wenxuan Yu of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, identify the primary issues surrounding implementation of China’s new Open Government Information (OGI) regulations and compare the key…
