  • Stimulus similarity modulates sensory dominance effects in cross-modal conflicts

WANG Aijun, Huang Jie et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Adaptive capacity and performance-based funding effectiveness

Open Access•Yan Huang, Huang Yan et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Education•2025

Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study combines closed-ended Likert surveys (54 items, α = 0.78–0.93), semi-structured elite interviews guided by a standardized protocol including open-ended thematic questions, and document analysis ( n = 1,247) using NLP-based content extraction, this study examines performance-based funding (PBF) effectiveness across 52 Chinese vocational colleges (2018–2023), where the 2022 Vocational Education L…

  • The sense of responsibility and bystanders’ prosocial behavior in cyberbullying

Open Access•Xiaowei Chu, Yujing Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Cyberpsychology Journal of…•2024

The sense of responsibility can play an important role in the behavior of college students involved in cyberbullying incidents. Research on the relationship between the sense of responsibility and bystander behavior in cyberbullying is limited. This study examined the relationship between the sense of responsibility and prosocial cyberbystander behavior in cyberbullying, focusing on investigating compassion as a mediator and moral emotions (i.e.,…

  • How can infectious medical waste be forecasted and transported during the Covid-19 pandemic? A hybrid two-stage method

  • Information in Streetscapes—Research on Visual Perception Information Quantity of Street Space Based on Information Entropy and Machine Learning

Open Access•Ziyi Liu, Xinyao Ma et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2022

Urban street space is a critical reflection of a city’s vitality and image and a critical component of urban planning. While visual perceptual information about an urban street space can reflect the composition of place elements and spatial relationships, it lacks a unified and comprehensive quantification system. It is frequently presented in the form of element proportions without accounting for realistic factors, such as occlusion, light and s…

  • Financial Resources Allocation and Its Economic Impact in Belt and Road Countries

Xin Li, Li Xin et al.•ARTICLE•Social Sciences in China•2022

The purpose of this paper is to explore a model of efficient allocation of financial resources in China and other Belt and Road countries to ensure it plays the most effective economic role. In terms of financial resources, this paper uses a fixed effects model to conduct an empirical study of 2006-2019 panel data on the financial resources of Belt and Road countries. The paper finds that the role of financial resources varies from country to cou…

  • Forecasting tourism demand with KPCA-based web search indexes

Open Access•Gang Xie, Xin Li et al.•ARTICLE•Tourism Economics•2021

Search query data (SQD) can be helpful in predicting tourism demand by generating web search indexes. However, valuable nonlinear information in SQD may be neglected by researchers. To effectively capture the nonlinear information, we used kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) to extract web search indexes from SQD. Then, several models with KPCA-based web search indexes were developed for tourism demand forecasting. An empirical study was c…

  • Somatization Symptoms Regulate Emotional Memory Bias in Adolescents With Major Depressive Disorder

Open Access•Daming Mo, Mo Daming et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2021

Objective: Somatization symptoms are commonly comorbid with depression. Furthermore, people with depression and somatization have a negative memory bias. We investigated the differences in emotional memory among adolescent patients with depressive disorders, with and without functional somatization symptoms (FSS). Methods: We recruited 30 adolescents with depression and FSS, 38 adolescents with depression but without FSS, and 38 healthy participa…

  • A Tao of Narrative

    Xin Li, Li Xin•ARTICLE•Curriculum Inquiry•2005•Cited by: 2•References: 3

In this article, I explore a cross‐cultural narrative inquiry method through a narrative inquiry about the process of reconstruction of five teacher stories. With dramatic, different cultural backgrounds, the five narrative inquirers—four teacher‐researchers and myself—recovered and reconstructed our teacher stories by telling and living, retelling and reliving them in our 2‐year life experience research. We simulated the interaction of teacher s…
