How urban street-scape visual features influence carbon emissions from residents visiting urban parks
Teachers’ knowledge sharing behaviors and TPACK in the digital age
The cornerstone of teachers’ professional development in the digital age is the transformation of their role from mere users of digital technology to co-creators of digital knowledge. Exploring the relationship between teachers’ knowledge-sharing behaviors and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) holds substantial practical implications. This study surveyed 1300 primary and secondary school teachers to investigate how gender and so…
Construal Level and Perceived Self-Control Capacity in Goal Pursuit
Previous research has documented individuals with high construal level (vs. low construal level) may experience greater self-control. In the current research, we extended this line of research by examining the mediating effect of goal self-concordance. Study 1 (N = 234) revealed that high (vs. low) construal level increases self-control capacity through perceived greater goal self-concordance. Study 2 (N = 224) confirmed the mediating effect of s…
A study on rumors preceding management forecast
This study focuses on rumors around management forecasts, investigating the changes in rumor occurrence and the factors influencing rumor spread. This paper finds that probabilities of both bullish and bearish rumors preceding the management forecast period significantly increase, and the positive correlation is positively moderated by the degree of information asymmetry and the market manipulation motives of stakeholders. The findings reveal tha…
Online class-related boredom and perceived academic achievement among college students
Online class-related boredom among college students is an academic emotion most often ignored by the academic community. Therefore, only a few empirical studies have been conducted by research scholars on this subject. From the viewpoint of self-determination theory and the control-value theory of achievement emotion, this research study attempts to investigate the association between online class-related boredom, school motivation, and academic …
The impact of street-scale built environments on urban park visitations
Personal relative deprivation and moral self-judgments
Exclusion of Illegal Evidence in Supervision Cases
The exclusionary rule of illegal evidence has always been a focal point of attention in both academic and practical circles, but its application remains fraught with numerous issues. There are also exclusionary rules for illegal evidence in supervision cases. From the perspective of legal norms, the exclusion of illegal evidence in supervision cases shares both similarities and differences with ordinary criminal cases. Due to the inherent uniquen…
Personal Relative Deprivation Reduces the Meaningfulness of Engaging in Prosocial Behavior (7,756 Words)
The association between online class-related enjoyment and academic achievement of college students
Our study indicated that online class-related enjoyment has a significant impact on academic achievement. Both of these factors should be considered when determining the optimal multi-chain mediating model for Online Class-related Enjoyment and Academic Achievement of college students
Chemical profiling of Fritillariae thunbergii Miq prepared by different processing methods reveals two new quality markers
A Comparison between the Psychological Benefits of Giving Money vs. Giving Time
Integrated strategy of LC-MS and network pharmacology for predicting active constituents and pharmacological mechanisms of Ranunculus japonicus Thunb. for treating rheumatoid arthritis
Spatial Multi-Objective Land Use Optimization toward Livability Based on Boundary-Based Genetic Algorithm
In this research, the concept of livability has been quantitatively and comprehensively reviewed and interpreted to contribute to spatial multi-objective land use optimization modelling. In addition, a multi-objective land use optimization model was constructed using goal programming and a weighted-sum approach, followed by a boundary-based genetic algorithm adapted to help address the spatial multi-objective land use optimization problem. Furthe…
Anti-angiogenic activity of water extract from Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr
The Effect of the Impulsivity on the Conditioned Placed Preference and Behavioral Sensitization Induced by Morphine in Rats
Conditioned placed preference (CPP), which reflects the rewarding and the strengthening effects of addictive drug, is a classical experimental model to evaluate drug addiction. Behavioral sensitization is defined as an increased (behavioral) response to a given dose of drug or a response of a similar magnitude upon treatment with a lower dose of drug after repeated treatment. It reflects the behavioral activation effect of addictive drug. Many st…
