Studium Historii Kultury Materialnej (1950-1956). Kontekst polityczny, ideologiczny i gospodarczy „likwidacji” etnologii w Polsce
W artykule autor omawia proces marginalizacji i “likwidacji” etnologii przez władze komunistyczne PRL, jako samodzielnej dyscypliny naukowej. W miejsce nauk „burżuazyjnych” lub „reakcyjnych”, a zatem niezgodnych z obowiązującą na przełomie lat 40. i 50. XX wieku doktryną materializmu dialektycznego, powołano do istnienia historię kultury materialnej. Nowy kierunek studiów zastąpił dotychczas osobne: etnologię, archeologię Polski oraz archeologię …

Kwestionariusze etnograficzne i prawo zadawania pytań
The main topic of this paper concerns the process of shaping textual research tools, such as surveys and questionnaires. Their use in fieldwork affects the nature and type of collected data. This paper analyses this problem by using concepts from anthropology and media studies, combining Jack Goody's literacy theory, the Foucauldian concept of biopower, and the term aparatus from Vilém Flusser.
