Pleistocene Man from Bodo: Taxonomy, morphology, and facial approximation
The paper presents the results of an integrated study of the archaic human cranium from the Bodo D’ar site (Wehaietu Formation, Middle Awash, Ethiopia), dated to approximately 600 kyr. the archaeological and faunal context of the find is reviewed, including its association with Acheulean artifacts and the presence of cut marks indicative of scalping on the cranium.
