  • DNA analysis in charred grains of naked wheat from several archaeological sites in Spain

    Open Access•Eva Fernández‐domínguez, Eluska Fernández et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science•2012•Cited by: 4•References: 3

  • Aspartic acid racemization variability in ancient human remains

    Open Access•Eva Fernández‐domínguez, Eluska Fernández et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science•2008•Cited by: 3•References: 4

  • Comparison of Populations as a Function of Confidence Intervals of Gene Probability

M Sánchez, María Victoria López Sánchez et al.•ARTICLE•Human Biology•2002•References: 1

A new method for population comparison has been developed in order to determine the most discriminating systems in relation to diverse populations. The method compares pairs of populations on the basis of confidence intervals for allelic frequencies and does not require any previous assumption, such as normality of the population. A data set of 12 populations studied for Polymarker Kit (Roche) genetic systems, 13 biallelic systems (LDLR, GYPA, D7…

  • Variability of Six STR Loci in Populations from Central Spain

    M S Mesa, Eduardo Arroyo et al.•ARTICLE•Human Biology•2001•Cited by: 1

Allele frequency distributions of six short tandem repeat (STR) loci, HUMTH01, HUMFES/FPS, HUMTPOX, HUMVWF/A31, HUMF13B, and HUMLPL, were determined in a population (101 individuals) of the Vera-Jerte region in West Central Spain. Amplified products were electrophoresed on denaturing polyacrylamide gels and silver-stained. The exact test demonstrated that none of the six loci deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. R-matrix analysis in relation…
