  • Relationship between quality of life of patients with severe mental illnesses and family burden of disease

Open Access•Sizhe Wang, Jiajia Dong et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

This study highlights that caregivers experience a heavy family burden of disease. The patients' HRQoL not only directly affects the family burden of disease but also indirectly influences it through the caregivers' social support. Therefore, relevant departments need to prioritize improving patients' HRQoL and expanding caregivers' social support networks when developing targeted intervention programs to reduce the family burden of SMIs

  • Hour Physical Activity Intensity and Energy Intake Trajectories and Their Associations with All-Cause Mortality

Zibo Wu, Xiaotong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Behavioral Medicine•2025

Diet and physical activity together affect health as important components of energy intake and energy expenditure, but few studies have considered the temporal interaction effect between them. Therefore, this study aimed to identify real-world 24-h physical activity intensity and energy intake trajectories and explore their associations with all-cause mortality. A total of 6389 participants from the 2003-2006 annual survey of the National Health …

  • Analysis of factors associated with family disease burden and correlation with social support among family caregivers of patients with severe mental illnesses

Open Access•Xia Zhang, Sizhe Wang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Social…•2024

Background: Caregivers are responsible for the home care of family members with severe mental illnesses (SMIs) and their lives are often subject to changes that can create stress and burden. The purpose of this study was to explore the current state of family disease burden and its correlation with social support among family caregivers of SMIs patients. Methods: Using a random sampling method, a total of 1,108 family caregivers of SMIs patients …

  • GeoAI Reproducibility and Replicability

    Wenwen Li, Chia-Yu Hsu et al.•ARTICLE•Annals of the American…•2024•Cited by: 1•References: 39

GeoAI has emerged as an exciting interdisciplinary research area that combines spatial theories and data with cutting-edge AI models to address geospatial problems in a novel, data-driven manner. Although GeoAI research has flourished in the GIScience literature, its reproducibility and replicability (R&R), fundamental principles that determine the reusability, reliability, and scientific rigor of research findings, have rarely been discussed. Th…

  • Assessment of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients' behavioral characteristics associated with integrated treatment and prevention services in community health centers in China

Open Access•Ran Zhao, Nan Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe behavioral characteristics of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients, identify homogeneous clusters, and explore factors affecting behaviors associated with integrated treatment and prevention (ITP) services for T2DM in community health centers in China. Methods: A convenient sampling method was employed at a community health center between January and July 2022 in Nanjing. A total of 354 pat…

  • GeoGraphVis

Open Access•Wenwen Li, Sizhe Wang et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2023

The past decade has witnessed an increasing frequency and intensity of disasters, from extreme weather, drought, and wildfires to hurricanes, floods, and wars. Providing timely disaster response and humanitarian aid to these events is a critical topic for decision makers and relief experts in order to mitigate impacts and save lives. When a disaster occurs, it is important to acquire first-hand, real-time information about the potentially affecte…

  • Factors affecting T2DM patients’ behaviors associated with integrated treatment and prevention services in China

Open Access•Ran Zhao, Xia Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal for Equity…•2023

The TPB model explained the behavioral variations associated with ITP services and provided a framework for developing targeted interventions and improving community-based ITP services for T2DM. To encourage patients to engage in desirable behaviors, interventions should focus on modifying patients' SN towards behavior associated with ITP services by promoting peer pressure and increasing the family's emphasis on health

  • Gender difference in the associations between health literacy and problematic mobile phone use in Chinese middle school students

Open Access•Dan-Lin Li, Sizhe Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2023

HL decreases PMPU, and males have a higher risk of PMPU than females. These findings suggest a reasonable strategy to reduce PMPU by improving the HL level of adolescents

  • Performance benchmark on semantic web repositories for spatially explicit knowledge graph applications

Open Access•Wenwen Li, Sizhe Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Computers Environment and Urban…•2022

  • GeoAI in terrain analysis
