An Empirical Analysis of the Korea-Türkiye Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Its Economic Effects on Bilateral Trade
본 연구는 한국과 튀르키예 간 자유무역협정(FTA)이 양국 간 교역량에 미친 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, FTA 발효 전후의 교역 구조 변화를 평가하고자 하였다. 연구에서는 2000년부터 2023년까지의 분기별 데이터를 활용하여 중력모형을 기반으로 FTA의 효과를 정량적으로 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 한국 GDP는 양국 교역량 증가에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미친 반면, 튀르키예 GDP의 효과는 상대적으로 미미한 것으로 나타났다. FTA는 초기에는 제한적인 효과를 보였으나, 장기적으로 긍정적 효과를 나타낼 가능성을 시사했다. COVID-19 팬데믹은 교역량 감소에 강력한 부정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 이는 외부 충격이 FTA 효과를 일시적으로 왜곡했음을 보여준다. 본 연구는 FTA 효과를 보다 면밀히 분석하기 위해 정책적 시사점과 후속 연구 방향을 제시하며, 한국과 튀르키예 간 경제 협력의 전략적 의…
