Effect of Visual Multimedia as a Counseling Intervention for Improving Classroom Concentration Among Young Students in Northern Nigeria who Survived Kidnapping
Limited literature exists on how to improve classroom concentration (CC) of survivors of kidnapping. This study examined media framing of internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the conflict between farmers and herdsmen in Nigeria. In doing so, particular attention was paid to source, frames, language, and solution suggested. The researchers adopted a mixed method of content analysis and structured interview. Perception and attitudes to end of life planning and implications for social work practice in Enugu State, Nigeria
This study examined perceptions of end of life planning by 80 adults selected using a multistage sampling technique. Eight focus group discussions (FGDs) of 10 discussants each were used to collect data, while analysis was done thematically. Participants are not ready to engage in end of life planning because doing so seems like beckoning death.
