The Suicidal Intrusions Attributes Scale (Sinas)
Overall, this study demonstrated acceptable levels of reliability and validity of the measure in a depressed clinical population with suicidal ideation. The SINAS may be a useful screening tool for suicidal intrusions in both research and clinical settings

This study shows significant improvement in the implementation of four out of ten guideline-based suicide prevention policies in 24 specialist mental healthcare institutions in The Netherlands. Suicide death and hospital-treated suicidal behaviour in asylum seekers in the Netherlands
In this study the suicide death rate was higher in male asylum seekers than in males in the reference population. The incidence of hospital-treated suicidal behaviour was higher in several subgroups of asylum seekers than that in the reference population. We conclude that measures to prevent suicide and suicidal behaviour among asylum seekers in the Netherlands are indicated

Time perspective theory assumes that behaviour is influenced by how individuals link their behaviour to their past, present, and future. This paper explores the concept of time perspective ( Zimbardo and Boyd, 1999 ) within a psychiatric context. We compared 76 individuals, in treatment ( n = 32) or not in treatment ( n = 44). Data from the Longitudinal Aging Study Amsterdam were used to study the relationship between neuroticism and aging. At baseline, cross-sectional analyses of data from 2,117 respondents (aged 55-85 years, M = 70) showed no significant age differences.
