  • The Mediating Role of Motivation Between Generative Artificial Intelligence and Foreign Language Proficiency: A Technology Acceptance Model Perspective

Open Access•Fei Qin, Bin Liu et al.•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2026

The use of technology in language learning is an emerging research field, especially in terms of how learners’ attitudes and acceptance of technology affect the process and experiences of language acquisition. This study seeks to evaluate the role of Generative AI (GenAI) tools in enhancing foreign language proficiency and to explore the motivational factors influencing their adoption and success. Utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), …

Methods From May 2022 to May 2024, a survey was conducted on young and middle-aged stroke patients visiting the neurology department of a tertiary hospital in Weifang. The survey utilized the General Information Questionnaire, the Rankin Scale, the General Isolation Scale, the Stigma Scale…

  • Local Protectionism and Firms' ESG Choices: Evidence From the Judicial Independence Reform

Open Access•Jiayin Li, Jiakai Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Scottish Journal of Political…•2025•References: 7

Local protectionism has been closely linked to corporate behavior. Open Access•Jiayin Li, Cristina Figueroa Domecq et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Tourism Analysis…•2024

Economic, political, environmental, health, war, and other crises are inevitable and increasingly common. Tourists' perceptions and travel intentions are greatly affected, so it is critical to develop crisis management plans in destinations. The case of cultural destinations is of vital importance, due to the lack of research in this field and the specific characteristics of this type of tourist destination. This article, through a survey of 508 …

  • The Sequence of the Human Genome

Open Access•J Craig Venter, Mark D Adams et al.•ARTICLE•Science•2001

A 2.91-billion base pair (bp) consensus sequence of the euchromatic portion of the human genome was generated by the whole-genome shotgun sequencing method. The 14.8-billion bp DNA sequence was generated over 9 months from 27,271,853 high-quality sequence reads (5.11-fold coverage of the genome) from both ends of plasmid clones made from the DNA of five individuals. Two assembly strategies—a whole-genome assembly and a regional chromosome assembl…
