Je suis profondément honoré et touché de recevoir un Doctorat honoris causa de cette grande institution qu’est l’École normale supérieure de Lyon, et je suis très reconnaissant à l’École, à la communauté de ses enseignants et chercheurs, et à son directeur, Monsieur Olivier Faron, de m’avoir accordé ce diplôme, et d’avoir ainsi offert une telle reconnaissance à l’œuvre de toute ma vie.
