This article reviews the prospects of Maya cultural activism in light of challenges to ethnic politics that have emerged in Guatemala over the past 10 years. The Mackenzie-McNaughton Wartime Letters
Mackenzie was in large part responsible for the council’s successful reconversion to peace and for the evolution of several new scientific institutions.
