  • The AVF: Outlook For the Eighties And Nineties

    This article discusses the outlook for manpower procurement by the AVF for the next 15 years-the probable numbers of male youth, their representativeness and their projected mental abilities. Approaching the problem from a historical perspective, the authors are optimistic about the viability of continued voluntary recruitment. They expect wage costs to rise, however; it is estimated that wage equity for the smaller youth cohorts of the nineties …
