Microhistory of a glottopolitical event
This study takes a microhistorical approach to analysing a glottopolitical event that is relevant both to the history of Spanish spelling and to the development of regimes of linguistic normativity in the Spanish-speaking world. La presente investigación analiza las casi cuatrocientas intervenciones manuscritas del lexicógrafo chileno Aníbal Echeverría y Reyes en un ejemplar del Diccionario de chilenismos (1875) de Zorobabel Rodríguez.
