This paper uses data on 10th graders from 2014 Caring Communities Youth Survey to examine the effect of protective factors on delinquency/age of onset (never, 13 or younger, 14 or older) of two antisocial behaviors (carrying a handgun to school and attacking someone with the intent of seriously hurting them). The Punishment Gap
This research examines the differences between ethnic groups when school infractions are subjective/objective. Using school discipline incident data, eight categories of infractions are analyzed: disobedience, violence, substance abuse, vandalism, theft, truancy, safety, and miscellaneous. Within these eight categories there are 32 specific infractions. Specific infractions were then classified as either subjective or objective by a committee. Po…

This article investigates child delinquency (offenders younger than 13 years of age). The population of child delinquents under various dispositions in the state of Louisiana, at one point in time, is described. Comparing Performance Test Scores of Juvenile Delinquents with the General Population of Students
This article compares the performance scores of juvenile delinquents who were under various court dispositions in the state of Louisiana in 2008 with the scores of all other students who took the same tests. Results clearly demonstrate that delinquents score much lower than other students

This article examines modern piracy. Descriptive data from 1,683 narrative piracy reports from 2003 through 2007 were used.
