  • Everyday positivity

    Open Access•Lotte Dam, Helle Dam Jensen•ARTICLE•First Monday•2024

This paper analyses a number of “About me” sections of Danish food blogs to the purpose of investigating how bloggers discursively construct online identities. • What motor vehicles and translation machines have in common - a first step towards a translation automation taxonomy

Tina Paulsen Christensen, Kristine Bundgaard et al.•ARTICLE•Perspectives•2021•Cited by: 1

This article discusses the similarities and differences and proposes a strengt…

    Lotte Dam, Helle Dam-Jensen et al.•ARTICLE•Pragmatics & Cognition•2010

This article argues that language provides instructions for the interpretive work of the addressee. The result of this interpretive process is the establishment of linguistic meaning. On this assumption, the article aims at explaining how meaning is established on the basis of the category of mood in Spanish. It is often assumed that the meaning of mood in Spanish is explainable in terms of assertion vs. non-assertion. Contrary to this, we shall …
