Barbara Efrat is Curator of Linguistics at the British Columbia Provincial Museum. From April 1972 until July 1973 she was employed directly by the Hesquiat Band Council. Although now on the staff of the Museum, she continues t o be involved actively in the Hesquiat Project and is still under contract t o the Band.
