Factors Affecting Social Workers' Judgments of Alcoholics
This study focuses on factors affecting social workers' judgments of the alcoholic. The four behavioral assumptions of Parsons' construct of the sick role are used to measure acceptance of the alcoholic as a legitimate incumbent of that role.
