    Content analyses of 14 hours of children's television programming were conducted to determine the medium's messages with respect to cross-racial relationships. In contrast to. the findings of previous research on prime-time broadcasting, the race variable did not affect qualitative aspects of the interpersonal relationships portrayed in this sample of children's television.     This paper reports the results of several independent investigations of the reliability and validity of the Environmental Concern Scale, a 16-item Likert scale assessing respondents' concerns about conservation and pollution issues.
