  • Coevolution of Opinion Dynamics and Recommendation System: Modeling Analysis and Reinforcement Learning Based Manipulation

Open Access•Yuhong Chen, Xiaobing Dai et al.•ARTICLE•IEEE Transactions on Computational…•2026

In this work, we develop an analytical framework that integrates opinion dynamics with a recommendation system. By incorporating elements such as collaborative filtering, we provide a precise characterization of how recommendation systems shape interpersonal interactions and influence opinion formation. Moreover, the property of the coevolution of both opinion dynamics and recommendation systems is also shown. Specifically, the convergence of thi…

  • How leaders' interpersonal emotion regulation strategies can attenuate the self-maintaining effect of employee venting? A venter-recipient interaction perspective

Shengjun Zhang, Jianjun Zhou et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Türkiye’s Road to Recovery after the 2023 Kahramanmaras Earthquake: Lessons from Chile, Japan, and Nepal

Prabin Acharya, Keshab Sharma et al.•ARTICLE•Natural Hazards Review•2024

The 2023 Türkiye-Syria earthquake sequence is one of the biggest disasters Türkiye has ever encountered. The loss of lives and properties by the earthquake indicates that the country was not prepared for such a level of disaster. Moving forward, it is critical for Türkiye to prioritize effective disaster recovery efforts and foster a culture of disaster resilience. Disaster recovery is a multifaceted, complex issue that requires effective plannin…

  • I spoke up, did you hear? The impact of voice (in)congruence on employee-initiated constructive changes

    Open Access•Limei Zhang, Jian Liang et al.•ARTICLE•Human Relations•2023•Cited by: 5•References: 86

Why do employees voice ideas for constructive changes in their organization and then fail to pursue those changes? To answer this question, we examined how individuals’ voice experiences with managers influence their initiative in pursuing constructive changes. Viewing the voicer–manager dyad as the basic unit of analysis, we propose that (in)congruence between manager-rated and employee self-rated voice behavior provides individuals with importa…

  • The mutual constitution of culture and psyche: The bidirectional relationship between individuals’ perceived control and cultural tightness–looseness

Anyi Ma, Krishna Savani et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Personality and Social…•2023•Cited by: 4

According to the theory of mutual constitution of culture and psyche, just as culture shapes people, individuals' psychological states can influence culture. We build on compensatory control theory, which suggests that low personal control can lead people to prefer societal systems that impose order, to examine the mutual constitution of personal control and cultural tightness. Specifically, we tested whether individuals' lack of personal control…
