Gender-based violence in higher education institutions in Cuba and Mexico
This article explores gender-based violence (GBV) in ten higher education institutions (HEIs) across Cuba and Mexico. Drawing on a literature review and primary data, this paper examines how GBV is experienced, perceived, and addressed within academic environments in both countries. The attrition of rape cases within the criminal justice system is driven by different factors. We aimed to describe the patterns of rape case attrition and associated factors in South Africa. We analysed a national sample of 3,952 cases reported in 2012.
