Many experts argue that unusual social and economic strains have an effect on the popular beliefs about poverty. Public perceptions of poverty are relevant because they are assumed to have a significant effect on the legitimacy and viability of welfare policies, and they influence what people expect from the poor. This paper examines how poverty-related beliefs were articulated by respondents in St. Louis County, Minnesota, before and during the …

Open Access•Eszter Siposne Nandori, Zsuzsanna Dabasi-Halász et al.•ARTICLE•Tér és Társadalom•2017

A fiatalok nemzetközi mobilitása az Európai Unió területén számos társadalmi és gazdasági hatást indukál, melynek ökonometriai elemzése csak részben kutatott téma. A nemzetközi MOVE kutatási projekt keretében több vizsgálatot is folytattunk a fiatalok Európa számára „hasznos” migrációjának megismerésére. Kvantitatív adatelemzést végeztünk az európai országok körében arra vonatkozóan, hogy a fiatalok mobilitásának milyen munkaerőpiaci és gazdasági…
