Parent and Peer Attachment in Late Childhood and Early Adolescence
This study investigated child and early adolescent relationships with parents and peers within the theoretical framework of attachment. A cross-sectional sample of 279 fourth, sixth, and eighth graders completed two self-report measures assessing attachment to parents and friends. The Predictive Validity of the Metropolitan Readiness Tests, 1976 Edition
The predictive validity of the Metropolitan Readiness Tests, 1976 Edition (MRT) was examined. A sample of 176 first grade children was tested on the MRT during the initial month of school and was retested eight months later on the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT).
