This paper argues that Canada's National Film Board (NFB) is moving away from its commitment to Aboriginal media production to focus on its global reputation as a leader in digital media. A case study of animated short films from the 2009 ‘Vistas’ series by Aboriginal film-makers highlights the NFB's changing priorities.
