    Open Access•Yan An•ARTICLE•Общество философия история культура•2025

This research presents the results of a sociological study of the influence of socialist revolutionary culture (Red Culture) on the development of cultural, historical, patriotic and moral values among students in the Chinese universities nowadays. This study has the particular practical value in light of the 80th Anniversary of China’s Victory over Japan. • Why do people spread fake news? Modelling the factors that influence social media users’ fake news sharing behaviour

Open Access•Yan An, Yinan Huang et al.•ARTICLE•Information Development•2025

This study modelled the factors that influence fake news spreading behaviour among social media users. To gather our data, we used an online survey to sample 385 social media users in Nigeria, using a chain referral approach. Smart PLS structural equation modelling was used to analyse the data (SEM). We discovered that lack of mindfulness, religiosity, instant news sharing, self-expression all predicted fake news sharing behaviour of social media…

  • Combining the life cycle model and corrosion model to analyze the impact of corrosion on carbon emissions of steel pipelines

Open Access•Yan An, An Yan et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Impact Assessment…•2025•References: 35

  • Chronotype characteristics of professional athletes in China

Open Access•Chenhao Tan, Jiaojiao Lu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of PHYSIOLOGICAL…•2023•References: 59

Background Chronotype has gained recognition as a significant factor in enhancing athletic performance. This study aimed to deepen our understanding of athletes' sleep chronotypes and provide a foundation for developing evidence-based training and competition programs. By comprehensively describing and analyzing the chronotype characteristics of Chinese professional athletes, considering individual and sports factors, sleep quality and habits, an…

  • The Potential Key Role of the NRF2/NQO1 Pathway in the Health Effects of Arsenic Pollution on SCC

Open Access•Qianlei Yang, Rui Yan et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Arsenic is widely present in nature and is a common environmental poison that seriously damages human health. Chronic exposure to arsenic is a major environmental poisoning factor that promotes cell proliferation and leads to malignant transformation. However, its molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, we found that arsenite can promote the transformation of immortalized human keratinocyte cells (HaCaT) from the G0/G1 phase to S phas…

  • Examination and Forecast of Relationship among Tourism, Environment, and Economy

Open Access•Ranran Li, Ziyuan Ding et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Correctly understanding and handling the relationship of tourism industry, ecological environment, and regional economy is an important prerequisite and foundation for realizing regional ecological protection and high-quality development. Based on the entropy method and the coupling coordination model, this paper conducts quantitative research on the coupling coordination relationship and development law of tourism industry-ecological environment…

  • Comparative study of the communicative behavior of Russians in comparison with Chinese

    Open Access•Yan An•ARTICLE•Vestnik of Samara University…•2020

The contradictory situation of globalization and active business contacts between the citizens of Russia and China is formed with insufficient mutual acquaintance of the participants of communication with the linguistic, cultural and behavioral differences in the mentalities of both ethnic groups. The study of these differences facilitates both direct understanding of someone elses utterance, and the creation of positive contacts that are not bur…

  • Descriptive Characteristics of Surface Water Quality in Hong Kong by a Self-Organising Map

Open Access•Yan An, Zhihong Zou et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2016

In this study, principal component analysis (PCA) and a self-organising map (SOM) were used to analyse a complex dataset obtained from the river water monitoring stations in the Tolo Harbor and Channel Water Control Zone (Hong Kong), covering the period of 2009-2011. PCA was initially applied to identify the principal components (PCs) among the nonlinear and complex surface water quality parameters. SOM followed PCA, and was implemented to analyz…

  • Water Quality Assessment in the Harbin Reach of the Songhuajiang River (China) Based on a Fuzzy Rough Set and an Attribute Recognition Theoretical Model

Open Access•Yan An, An Yan et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2014

A large number of parameters are acquired during practical water quality monitoring. If all the parameters are used in water quality assessment, the computational complexity will definitely increase. In order to reduce the input space dimensions, a fuzzy rough set was introduced to perform attribute reduction. Then, an attribute recognition theoretical model and entropy method were combined to assess water quality in the Harbin reach of the Songh…

  • Finer resolution observation and monitoring of global land cover

Peng Gong, Jie Wang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Remote…•2013

We have produced the first 30 m resolution global land-cover maps using Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) and Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) data. We have classified over 6600 scenes of Landsat TM data after 2006, and over 2300 scenes of Landsat TM and ETM+ data before 2006, all selected from the green season. These images cover most of the world's land surface except Antarctica and Greenland. Most of these images came from the United States Geo…
