Study on the mechanism of anti-pulmonary fibrosis action of Jingfang granules based on the Keap1-Nrf2-GPX4 pathway
In summary, JF exerts its anti-fibrotic effects by targeting Keap1 and competitively disrupting the Keap1-Nrf2 interaction, thereby promoting Nrf2 protein translocation into the nucleus. This mechanism provides experimental evidence supporting its clinical application and new drug development
Ginseng stem and leaf saponins attenuates pulmonary fibrosis by regulating TFAM–mtDNA homeostasis and suppressing ZBP1-mediated PANoptosis
GSLS mitigates BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis by stabilizing TFAM, maintaining mtDNA homeostasis, and suppressing PANoptosis. This clarifies the potential mechanism of GSLS therapy for PF
Integrating sentiment information for risk prediction
This paper incorporates investor sentiment indexes into the traditional standard heterogeneous autoregressive (HAR) model to improve its power on predicting crude oil futures risk. Using the 5-min high-frequency trading data to construct the daily realized volatility, the original and revised HAR models are used for in-sample regression and out-of-sample forecasting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The results show that the sentiment indexe…
Proactive social learning and green product consumption
Growing literature on social norms points to the effectiveness of leveraging social interactions to spur prosocial purchase behaviors. This article studies the effects of proactive social learning, a dynamic social norm formation process measured by the public's online normative information acquisition regarding climate change, on new energy vehicle (NEV) sales in China. Drawing on model–month sales data, we provide robust evidence that citizens'…
The Role of Community Organisations in the Collective Mobilisation of Migrant Workers
In examining the collective mobilisation of migrant workers, scholars have explored the emergence of community organisations as alternative forms of worker representation. However, community unionism scholars tend to adopt a union-centric perspective, which leaves unexplored the complex nature of community organisations. We argue that it is important to adopt a 'community'-oriented perspective. Such a perspective allows us to explore varied capac…
The art of labour organizing
There has been an upsurge of interest regarding how actors engage with art within organizational processes. However, scholars have tended not to study the role of art within contemporary collective labour organizing. This article focuses on how participatory art may support flat, participative labour organizing, particularly among marginalized, relatively powerless workers. We present an ethnographic account of how art practices are deeply embedd…
Art with marginalised communities
In contrast to the dominant masculinised discourses on global cities, this project explores the feminised and private spheres of global cities—‘domestic work’ in London. Domestic work is of particular concern for London, given the concentration of domestic workers in the capital and the large numbers of migrants employed in the sector. In the polarised London labour market, migrant domestic workers are concentrated at the bottom end of the labour…
When the ‘unorganizable’ organize
The collective mobilization of migrant workers is an important issue for analysis. Three key barriers to the mobilization of migrant workers have been identified – employment conditions, which tend to prevent migrant workers coming together; the framings held by migrant workers, which marginalize an understanding of their position as that of exploited workers; and the issue of the sustainability of any mobilization. The article examines migrant d…
