    Open Access•Dorina Baltag, Isabell Burmester•ARTICLE•Democratization•2022•Cited by: 11•References: 37

This article aims to assess the role of local agency and the local socio-cultural context in the internalization of externally promoted political norms. • The role of EU health attachés for global health diplomacy in times of Covid-19

    Open Access•Sabrina Luh, Dorina Baltag•ARTICLE•Global Affairs•2021•References: 6

Reviewing the scholarship on global health diplomacy shows, on the one hand, that health attachés are at the core of global health diplomacy while on the other, data about their role and impact is lacking. International diplomatic negotiations on health take place at the bilateral and multilat…

  • Eu External Representation Post-Lisbon

Dorina Baltag•ARTICLE•The Hague Journal of Diplomacy•2017•Cited by: 2

Following the Treaty of Lisbon, these delegations assumed the role of the rotating Presidencies and oversee the conduct of eu diplomatic affairs. In practice, this implies representing the eu and cooperating with eu member states’ embassies on matters not only relevant for aid and trade, bu…

  • Assessing the performance of the European Union in Central and Eastern Europe and in its neighbourhood

Dimitris Papadimitriou, Dorina Baltag et al.•ARTICLE•East European Politics•2017•Cited by: 14•References: 75

The goal of this Special Issue is to examine the performance of EU policies and processes as well as their impact in the ‘wider’ Eastern Europe. We make both a conceptual and an empirical contribution. Conceptually, we link the literature on EU policy and its impact in ‘wider’ Eastern Europe with the literature on performance and distinguish between process-driven and outcome-driven performance of the EU. Under process-driven performance we evalu…
