The neglected effects of Europeanization in the member states – policy-making in directly EU-influenced and sovereign domains
This article finds that the transformative power of deepening European integration on member states’ domestic policy-making processes is stronger than previously assumed. This paper presents a sociolinguistic assessment of the Darwzi speech varieties (including Tangshewi) based on data collected during a survey conducted between August 31st and September 19th 2008 in the Darwz area. The research was carried out under the auspices of the International Assistance Mission, a Non-Governmental Organization working in Afghanistan.
