Predictors of prospective suicide attempts in a group at risk of personality disorder following self-poisoning
Some clinical features, such as alcohol dependence, suicide intent, and hopelessness, may not be reliable predictors of SA among PD patients. However, in the short term, previous SA and, in the long term, depression and alexithymia may be the most robust clinical predictors to consider in our sample of patients with self-poisoning SA. Clinical trial registration : [ClinicalTrials.gov], NCT00641498 24/03/2008 [#2006-A00450-51]
Factors associated with a borderline personality disorder diagnosis in the emergency department

Consequently, it is important to identify whether they are utilized successfully and, if not, why. This would enable pragmatic solutions to be agreed to improve the organization of care and the removal of any barriers to the guidelines' implementation. The first step in this process, before any exploration of the limi…
Childhood maltreatment and personality disorders in patients with a major depressive disorder
Few studies have examined the association between childhood maltreatment (CM) and personality disorders (PDs) in adulthood in two different cultural contexts, including sub-Saharan Africa. The aims of this study were to compare the frequency of CM between patients in treatment in France and Togo for a major depressive disorder (MDD), to explore the link between CM and PDs, and to examine the mediating effect of personality dimensions in the pathw…
Environmental Justice and Information Technologies
Scientific studies and resident testimony suggest that urban residents in low‐income and minority communities have been subject to an unequal burden of environmental pollution and inequitable environmental enforcement practices. A key component of the equitable development and implementation of environmental policies is the participation of citizens and community‐based organizations in the policy process. Such participation rests upon equitable a…
