Family environmental unpredictability and adolescent physiological and psychological health

Effectiveness of an MDT-CDIO integrated teaching model in orthopedic clinical education
BACKGROUND: Orthopedic clinical education requires the integration of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and multidisciplinary clinical decision-making. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)-integrated Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) teaching model in orthopedic clinical education. METHODS: In this prospective randomized controlled study, 60 orthopedic interns at Lanzhou University Second …
Preschool education and non-cognitive skills
Non-cognitive abilities, such as social skills and self-control, are vital for individual success. Preschool education is a critical period for developing these abilities, with long-term benefits often linked to early childhood interventions. Using data from the China Education Panel Survey (CEPS), this study employs OLS regression, PSM, and IV modeling to assess the impact of preschool education on rural junior high school students’ non-cognitiv…
Structural characteristics and community formation mechanisms in aquatic plant communities during the near-natural restoration of urban rivers
The Impact of Financial Development on Pollution Reduction Evidence from Provinces in China
The long-term impacts of preschool attendance on prosocial behaviors of children in China
Changes in emotion regulation strategies during the pandemic
BACKGROUND: Emotion regulation (ER) is considered central in adolescent psychopathology, and ER strategies may change during challenging times, such as a global pandemic. Despite this, there remains a limited understanding of individual differences in ER mechanisms and their associations with psychopathology. This study examined whether and how cognitive reappraisal, expressive suppression, and self-compassion changed over COVID-19 and how these …
Value cocreation in online music communities
In recent years the value cocreation-oriented online music community has grown at an astonishing rate. To clarify the relationship between value cocreation and users' continuance intention in an online music community, we added aesthetic value to value cocreation based on service-dominant logic, and explored the chain mediating role of empathy and trust in this model. Using convenience sampling we collected 338 valid questionnaires from people wh…
Quantifying livestock vulnerability to snow disasters in the Tibetan Plateau
Quantitative vulnerability relationships describing the susceptibility of socioeconomic losses in response to climate change are critical for natural disaster loss modeling and risk assessment. Modeling such vulnerability requires methods capable of handling complicated multi-factor, non-linear, and interactive relationships. Here, we compared the performance of generalized additive models (GAM) and random forest (RF) and boosted regression trees…
