Revisiting the role of location in restaurant survival: Comparison of brick-and-mortar and click-and-mortar outlets in Shenzhen, China
Digital transformation and income disparities: A threshold analysis in developing countries
This study investigates the non-linear impact of digitalization on income inequality within developing economies. Utilising a balanced panel dataset of 45 countries from 2000 to 2023, we employ a dynamic panel threshold model to empirically identify structural breakpoints in this relationship. The findings reveal an inverted U-shaped pattern: at low-to-moderate levels of digitalization (index ≤ 0.48), technological advancement exacerbates income …

R-Mlgti: A Grid- and R-Tree-Based Hybrid Index for Unevenly Distributed Spatial Data
In recent years, with the development of sensor technology, the volume of spatial data has grown exponentially. However, this data is often unevenly distributed, and traditional indexing methods cannot predict the overall data distribution when data are continuously inserted into the database. This makes them inefficient for indexing large-scale, unevenly distributed spatial data. This paper proposes a hybrid indexing method based on the grid-ind…
