Global and local feature extraction of urban historical spatial perception using large language models
The association of sedentary time with sleep disturbances among the US population, 2005 to 2014
This study suggested that the longer sedentary time was strongly associated with the sleep disturbances. The protective effect of recreational activities on sleep disturbance, has not been significantly demonstrated
Non-suicidal self-injury
This study analyzed the research of NSSI from multiple perspectives, and provides valuable information for researchers to capture the current status, hot spots, and frontier trends of NSSI
Spatiotemporal Evolution of Non-Grain Production of Cultivated Land and Its Underlying Factors in China
Food security is the foundation of development. We comprehensively characterized the spatiotemporal patterns of non-grain production (NGP) areas in China and elucidated the underlying factors driving NGP. Our objectives were to map NGP on cultivated land (NGPCL) in China, and to quantify its spatiotemporal patterns, to investigate the factors underlying NGP spatial differentiation, and to provide a scientific basis for developing NGP management p…

Prehistorical East–West admixture of maternal lineages in a 2,500‐year‐old population in Xinjiang
As an area of contact between Asia and Europe, Central Asia witnessed a scenario of complex cultural developments, extensive migratory movements, and biological admixture between West and East Eurasians. However, the detanglement of this complexity of diversity requires an understanding of prehistoric contacts of the people from the West and the East on the Eurasia continent. We demonstrated the presence of genetic admixture of West and East in a…
A mitochondrial revelation of early human migrations to the Tibetan Plateau before and after the last glacial maximum
As the highest plateau surrounded by towering mountain ranges, the Tibetan Plateau was once considered to be one of the last populated areas of modern humans. However, this view has been tremendously changed by archeological, linguistic, and genetic findings in the past 60 years. Nevertheless, the timing and routes of entry of modern humans into the Tibetan Plateau is still unclear. To make these problems clear, we carried out high‐resolution mit…
Origins of the Workers Who Built the First Qin Emperor's Mausoleum Revealed by Mitochondrial DNA
Ancient DNA analyses are always employed to reveal the ethnic origins of the ancient human remains. In this paper, we analyzed 19 human bone remains excavated from a tomb near the Qin Dynasty's Terra-Cotta Warriors and dated some 2,200 years before present. There samples were supposed to be workers building the mausoleum for the First Emperor of China. The polymorphisms in the first hypervariable region and coding regions of mitochondrial DNA wer…
Rationales, design and recruitment of the Taizhou Longitudinal Study
The Taizhou Longitudinal Study will provide a good basis for exploring the roles of many important environmental factors (especially those concomitant with the economic transformation in China) for common chronic diseases, solely or via interaction with genetic factors
