The Acceptability of a Tobacco Dependency Treatment for NHS Staff in the North East of England
The service was deemed highly acceptable, and service users' experiences informed recommendations for improving future tobacco dependency services. This is the first known application of the TFA to an evaluation of a smoking cessation intervention, and it contributes to a broader body of research on reducing tobacco dependency

Assessing fidelity of design and training of Making Every Contact Count (Mecc) in a mental health inpatient setting
The implementation of MECC across the mental health inpatient setting and the training package appear to be delivered as intended therefore demonstrating good fidelity and potential benefits to public health. Future research would benefit from assessing cascade training sessions from those who have completed train the trainer to evaluate ongoing fidelity of training across the trust
Reintroducing face-to-face support alongside remote support to form a hybrid stop smoking service in England
The hybrid approach allows smoking cessation services to evaluate which groups benefit from remote, face-to-face, or mixed options and allocate resources accordingly. Providing choice, flexible provision, non-judgmental support, and clear information about available options could improve engagement and match support to individual needs, enhancing outcomes
Whose pain is real pain and whose pain is not
The role of social support in help-seeking for minoritised ethnic women is complex; functioning as both a facilitator and a barrier to help-seeking, contingent upon individual circumstances and subjective perceptions. The dissatisfaction expressed by women around the current perinatal care highlights the need for services in England to prioritise cultural humility and empathetic support to enhance outcomes for minoritised ethnic women

Generalists and specialists recognise the need for better communication with each other. Current care is characterised by silo-based working that ignores the contribution of other sectors.
