  • Accuracy, satisfaction, and impact of custom GPT in acquiring clinical knowledge

Jiaxi Pu, Jie Hong et al.•ARTICLE•Medical Teacher•2025

Background Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have enabled the customization of large language models to address specific domains such as medical education. This study investigates the practical performance of a custom GPT model in enhancing clinical knowledge acquisition for medical students and physicians. Methods A custom GPT was developed by incorporating the latest readily available teaching resources. Its accuracy in providi…

  • Genomic substructure in Yellow River Basin farmers during the transitional Yangshao-Longshan period

  • The Impact of Family Physician Contracting on Healthcare Costs

Open Access•Yuqing Zhang, Lele Li et al.•ARTICLE•Health & Social Care in the…•2024•References: 4

With the aging population, the financial burdens associated with chronic diseases continue to escalate. Among various management strategies, family physician contracting stands out as a significant initiative aimed at addressing this challenge, officially introduced in China in 2016. However, current research has given relatively little attention to the economic benefits of family physician contracting in developing countries. This paper evaluate…

  • Toward explainable AI (XAI) for mental health detection based on language behavior

Open Access•Elma Kerz, Sourabh Zanwar et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) in general and Natural Language Processing (NLP) in particular are paving the new way forward for the automated detection and prediction of mental health disorders among the population. Recent research in this area has prioritized predictive accuracy over model interpretability by relying on deep learning methods. However, prioritizing predictive accuracy over model interpretability can result in a lack of…

  • Analysis of affected population vulnerability to rainstorms and its induced floods at county level

Open Access•Xinli Liao, Wei Xu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Disaster…•2022

  • Informal Community Growing Characteristics and the Satisfac-tion of Concerned Residents in Mountainous Urban Areas of Southwest China

Open Access•Zhong Xing, Canhui Cheng et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Due to the mountainous terrain in the urban areas of southwest China, there are a large number of barren slopes in the community unsuitable for construction. These areas, alongside other unusable space which is often cultivated by residents to create informal community vegetable gardens and fruit growing areas, have become a “gray area” for urban management. This paper attempts to study the characteristics of informal community growing, the compo…

  • The Water Status in China and an Adaptive Governance Frame for Water Management

Open Access•Jiahong Li, Xiaohui Lei et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2020

China is increasingly facing water-related problems, such as water scarcity, pollution, and overexploitation of groundwater. This paper discusses the water status in China and claims that governance is the cause of water-related problems. The structure of the current water management is analyzed to conclude that the control-command is a static approach which is less capable of dealing with the uncertainty in the water resources system. An adaptiv…

  • Fabrication and Rate Performance of Spherical LiFePO 4 Nanoparticles for High–power Lithium Ion Battery

Bing Huang, Xiaodong Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•New Materialisms•2012

The spherical LiFePO4/C nanoparticles are synthesized by modified carbothermal reduction method. XRD patterns show that the LiFePO4 compound is orthorhombic crystal structure. SEM and TEM results indicate that the LiFePO4 composite had a spherical morphology with carbon coated and the particle size is nanoscale. Charge/discharge tests and CV curves show that as-prepared sample exhibits discharge capacity of 153 mAh g-1 at 0.2 C rate with high ele…

  • Development of Complex Societies in the Yiluo Region

    Open Access•Yu Qiao•ARTICLE•Bulletin of the Indo-Pacific…•2007

The Yiluo basin is the heartland of the origin of early states in China. Based on archaeological data from the ongoing Yiluo project, I construct a GIS based study de-tailing the carrying capacity, catchment productivity, population fluctuation and development of social com-plexity in the surveyed region from the Peiligang to the Erlitou period. The study demonstrates that, although increase of population coincided with the initiation of social c…

  • Determinants of China's Military Expenditures

Open Access•Qian Sun, Yu Qiao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Peace Research•1999•Cited by: 2•References: 3

China's military expenditures are of great concern to many. Although numerous articles have been written on this subject, little empirical work has been conducted to identify the determinants of China's military expenditures. This article fills this void by empirically showing that China's GNP, its rivals' military expenditures, its border wars with neighboring countries, and its leadership's preferences are likely determinants of China's militar…
