Xiaeryamakebu
Excavations at Xiaeryamakebu, located in the Qaidam Basin of north-west China, have uncovered a large Bronze Age settlement that includes residences and cemeteries. The site provides crucial insights into the Nuomuhong culture, its mortuary practices and local adaptation to the Tibetan Plateau
Discovery and research of the Yaoletu microlithic site in Dulan County, Qinghai Province
Isotopic evidence of Caprinae feeding ecology and early herding management in the Lake Qinghai Basin
New radiocarbon dates and the prehistoric human occupation at the Lake Qinghai Basin, northeast Tibetan Plateau
Magnetostratigraphic dating of the Linyi Fauna and implications for sequencing the mammalian faunas on the Chinese Loess Plateau
The Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) in North China is an important terrestrial archive that witnessed the environmental changes and mammal and early human evolution in Asia over the past 2.6 Ma. Establishing precise ages for the Pleistocene faunas on the CLP is critical for better understanding of these environmental, biological, and archaeological issues. Here we report a new magnetostratigraphic record that places age constraints on the Linyi Fauna…
Geochemical characteristics of surface dune sand in the Mu Us Desert, Inner Mongolia, and implications for reconstructing the paleoenvironment
