  • Phillyrin from Forsythia suspensa suppresses the proliferation, angiogenesis, and metastasis of colorectal cancer via targeting CD147

Open Access•Yuzhen Huang, Nan Cheng et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Diversified subsistence patterns and their influencing factors revealed by ancestral paleodiet during the first millenium BC in Northwest Yunnan, China

    Open Access•Zining Zou, Qing Yang et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2025•Cited by: 1•References: 68

The in-depth research into how prehistoric human subsistence patterns responded to environmental shifts during the transcontinental spread of crops, livestock, and cultural interactions between the second and first millenium BC is a pivotal scientific endeavor that has aroused widespread attention. Northwest Yunnan, as a vital corridor for human migration, facilitated ancient human dispersals and fostered cultural exchanges. Analyzing prehistoric…

  • Prehistoric agricultural practices and subsistence strategies at Jicha site (3800–2200 cal BP) in Northwest Yunnan, China

Open Access•Xiabo Li, Wuqi Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science…•2025•References: 5

  • Asymptomatic hyperuricemia associated with increased risk of nephrolithiasis

Open Access•Haoyuan Deng, Xuehui Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2023

Asymptomatic hyperuricemia is associated with an increased risk of developing nephrolithiasis. Before reaching the diagnostic criteria for hyperuricemia, the risk of nephrolithiasis rises with the increase in SUA. This suggests that controlling SUA levels may be significant for the prevention of nephrolithiasis

  • Mediating role of social capital on the association between negative life events and quality of life among adults in China

Open Access•Jianghui Zhang, Songmei Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

Objective: To evaluate whether social capital played a mediating role in the relationship between negative life events (NLE) and quality of life (QoL) among adults in China after proposed a conceptual model based on stress buffering theory. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted based on baseline survey from the Chinese Multi-ethnic Cohort (CMEC) in Yunnan province. A total of 22,866 adults were recruited by multistage stratified cluster …

  • Prediction of corneal astigmatism based on corneal tomography after femtosecond laser arcuate keratotomy using a pix2pix conditional generative adversarial network

Open Access•Zhe Zhang, Nan Cheng et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a deep learning model to generate a postoperative corneal axial curvature map of femtosecond laser arcuate keratotomy (FLAK) based on corneal tomography using a pix2pix conditional generative adversarial network (pix2pix cGAN) for surgical planning. Methods: A total of 451 eyes of 318 nonconsecutive patients were subjected to FLAK for corneal astigmatism correction during cataract surgery. Paired or single ant…
