  • A multi-proxy centennial-resolution paleoecological record of Holocene lake sediments in the marginal zone of Last Scandinavian Glaciation (Tver Region, Russia)

    Open Access•Maria Nosova, Andrey Zakharov et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2025•Referências: 2

  • A multi-proxy reconstruction of peatland development and regional vegetation changes in subarctic NE Fennoscandia (the Republic of Karelia, Russia) during the Holocene

    Open Access•Kirill V Babeshko, A V Shkurko et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2021•Citada por: 1•Referências: 10

A better understanding of past long-term environmental changes in the subarctic region is crucial for mitigation of the possible negative effects of climate warming in this vulnerable region. This study provides a new multi-proxy reconstruction of regional vegetation changes and peatland development for north-eastern Fennoscandia (Russia) during most of the Holocene. To that purpose, we performed plant macrofossil, pollen, testate amoebae, peat h…

  • Variations in pollen deposition of the main taxa forming the land cover along a NW–SE transect in European Russia

Open Access•Maria Nosova, Olga Lisitsyna et al.•ARTICLE•Vegetation History and…•2020•Referências: 7

  • Vegetation and climate changes within and around the Polistovo-Lovatskaya mire system (Pskov Oblast, north-western Russia) during the past 10,500 years

    Open Access•Maria Nosova, Елена Новенко et al.•ARTICLE•Vegetation History and…•2018•Citada por: 2•Referências: 9

  • Representation of Picea pollen in modern and surface samples from Central European Russia

    Open Access•Maria Nosova, Elena Severova et al.•ARTICLE•Vegetation History and…•2014•Citada por: 3•Referências: 10

  • Holocene hyrax dung deposits in the afroalpine belt of the Bale Mountains (Ethiopia) and their palaeoclimatic implication

    E A Kuzmicheva, Habte Jebessa Debella et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Archaeology•2013•Referências: 15

The results of pollen analysis and radiocarbon dating are presented for two hyrax dung deposits from rock shelters found in the Afroalpine zone of the Bale Mountains (South-Central Ethiopia). Deposits accumulated from about 15,000 to 1500 (cal) years BP and from 7000 (cal) years BP till nowadays, respectively. Pollen spectra of the initial stages of deposit development (up to 15,000 (cal) years BP) correlate with unfavourable conditions in the La…
