Purpose This study examined the reliability, validity, and clinical correlates of the financial well-being as measured using the CFPB Financial Well-Being Scale (FWBS) among Chinese childhood trauma survivors. Methods The sample consisted of childhood trauma survivors in a survey project ( n = 151), with a subsample at follow-up approximately 5 months after baseline ( n = 71). Participants first completed validated screening measures of financial…
The Longitudinal Effects of Adolescent Volunteering on Secondary School Completion and Adult Volunteering
This study explores the longitudinal effect of adolescent volunteering behaviour on young adult volunteering and the completion of secondary school. Utilising data from the Australian sample of the International Youth Development Study, frequency of volunteering in Grade 9 (mean age = 15 years) and in young adulthood (mean age = 21 years), and completion of secondary school were measured. Mixed effect logistic regression analyses revealed that ad…

Peer Group Patterns of Alcohol‐Using Behaviors Among Early Adolescents in V ictoria, A ustralia, and W ashington S tate, U nited S tates
The goal of this study was to examine and cross-nationally compare the peer group patterns of alcohol-drinking behaviors among cohorts of early adolescents (ages 11-14 years) in Victoria, Australia, and Washington State, United States. Latent transition analysis revealed that after 1 year, transitions congruent with peer influence (whereby non-drinking adolescents initiated alcohol use in the presence of drinking peers) and reverse peer influence…
