Open Access•Kylie Hinde, Gert Martin Hald et al.•ARTICLE•Psychological Trauma Theory…•2025

Results strongly support the internal reliability and construct validity of the ICD-11 PTSD and CPTSD models in Australian parents of autistic children, as measured by the International Trauma Questionnaire. The ICD-11 models outperformed the best DSM-5 models, highlighting their superiority for this population. While more complex DSM-5 models showed better fit than simpler ones, they still did not achieve a good overall fit. Notably, the results…

Open Access•Kylie Hinde, Silvia Pavan et al.•ARTICLE•Psychological Trauma Theory…•2025

Although previous studies have established links between anxiety disorders, sexual dysfunctions, and sexual satisfaction, there is relatively little research on the specific factors associated with living with an anxiety disorder that might contribute to these sexual health disparities. This study assessed the associations between anxiety, cognitive distractions, biased expectancies, and 1) sexual dysfunction (DSM-5 diagnostic criteria) 2) associ…
