Laughlin prepared for the House Committee on Immigration and Naturalization, he concluded that "the recent immigrants....present a higher percentage of inborn socially inadequate qualities than do the older stocks." An examination of his data and methods of analysis proves this conclusion to be unfounded. (I)…
