Mapping Qijiaping
Recent work at the Qijia Culture type-site of Qijiaping in the Tao River valley of Gansu Province, China, has shed light on the complex nature of this early Bronze Age site. Change of government’s subsidization policy improves smoking cessation services
The new subsidization policy in Taiwan has improved smoking cessation services. Overall, physicians reported positive effects of the new policy. Further study is warranted to evaluate the long-term influence of the policy
The evaluation of a Taiwanese training program in smoking cessation and the trainees' adherence to a practice guideline
The training program was satisfactory and effective. Adherence to a practice guideline in our study was better than studies without physician training in other countries

Alluvial geoarchaeology of a Middle Archaic Mound complex in the lower Mississippi Valley, U.S.A
The Nolan site (16MA201), 14 C dated 5200–4800 cal yr B.P. and located in the Tensas Basin of northeastern Louisiana, is the only recorded Middle Archaic mound site in the alluvial valley of the Mississippi River. Alluvial deposition has buried the Nolan site under 3–4 m of Holocene sediment, prohibiting traditional excavation of the site. The training program was satisfactory and effective. Adherence to a practice guideline in our study was better than studies without physician training in other countries
