An empirical investigation of critical success factors in implementing digital transformation
Digital transformation has attracted increasing attention from academia and industry. Although many studies have investigated the factors affecting the success of digital transformation, research on its comprehensive antecedents is lacking. This study employs the people, process, technology (PPT) framework to comprehensively conceptualize the critical factors for achieving digital transformation success. As digital transformation drives innovatio…

Cybercriminals controlling multiple accounts to conduct malicious activities are a threat to the security of online services. These accounts form malicious communities that are difficult to detect using conventional methods with single-factor identity, such as browser fingerprint or internet protocol (IP) address. Single-factor identity is prone to noise and uncertainty and does not capture dynamic relationships between accounts. To solve the pro…

The Effects of Integrated Step Training into the Physical Education Curriculum of Children with Intellectual Disabilities
(1) Background: This study investigated the changes in step frequency, walking ability, and standing posture of students with intellectual disabilities by integrating step training into the students' physical education curriculum; (2) Methods: The centroid formula was used to estimate the geometric center of the students' bodies in video footage of each participant. Each participant's stepping frequency per minute was recorded. After training, th…
Understanding how O2O service synergies drive customer continuance intention
This study broadens the understanding of how online-to-offline (O2O) service synergy enhance customer satisfaction and further drive customer continuance intention. Drawing on the self-regulatory process, halo effect, and the O2O business model, this study is the first to investigate the interconnected relationship between online service quality and the perceived value of offline services in relation to online and offline satisfaction. The findin…
Development of an Al-Based Web Diagnostic System for Phenotyping Psychiatric Disorders
Background: Artificial intelligence (AI)-based medical diagnostic applications are on the rise. Our recent study has suggested an explainable deep neural network (EDNN) framework for identifying key structural deficits related to the pathology of schizophrenia. Here, we presented an AI-based web diagnostic system for schizophrenia under the EDNN framework with three-dimensional (3D) visualization of subjects' neuroimaging dataset. Methods: This A…
Exploring Doctors’ Willingness to Provide Online Counseling Services
With the impetus of information communication technology (ICT), emerging eHealth has attracted increasing number of doctors' participation in online health platforms, which provide various potential benefits to doctors. However, previous studies on eHealth have seldom distinguished different service modes provided by doctors. In addition, the bulk of the literature has considered doctors' motivations based solely on online environments. To fill t…
Why Do Patients Move from Online Health Platforms to Hospitals? The Perspectives of Fairness Theory and Brand Extension Theory
Online healthcare services are growing rapidly. Patients can receive health support through communication with online health professionals. However, previous research on eHealth has focused on patients' online behavioral intentions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of online patient-doctor communication on offline behavioral intentions and to propose a conceptual model for eHealth. We integrate fairness theory and band exten…
Integration of online and offline channels
Purpose This study uses the travel industry as the research context and investigates online–offline integration between the different business entities of hoteliers and online travel agencies (OTAs). The purpose of this paper is threefold: first, to examine cooperation between hotels and OTAs; second, to examine how online and offline satisfaction increase behavioral intentions toward online and offline channels; and third, to investigate the fac…
Temporal Variations of Radiocarbon Reservoir Ages in the South Pacific Ocean during the Holocene
This article discusses the magnitude and rate of change of radiocarbon reservoir ages from the surface ocean in the South Pacific during the Holocene. 14 C reservoir ages are calculated from paired U/Th and 14 C measurements. Seventeen pairs of coral dates were determined from samples collected on Rendova and Tetepare Islands, in the Solomon Islands, and from Espiritu Santo Island, Vanuatu. The samples are all Holocene in age, with 230 Th ages ra…
A Seasonal Arima Model of Tourism Forecasting
This paper aims to determine suitable SARIMA models to forecast the monthly outbound tourism departures of three major destinations from Taiwan to Hong Kong, Japan and the USA, respectively. The HEGY test is used to identify the deterministic seasonality in the data. The mean absolute per cent error (MAPE) is used to measure forecast accuracy. A low MAPE demonstrates the adequacy of the fitted SARIMA models. The results indicate that all series w…
