Open Access•Feifei Fan, Safial Aqbar Zakaria•ARTICLE•The Design Journal•2026

This study investigates translation mechanisms between Chinese Bird-and-Flower Painting Colour Philosophy and contemporary Neo-Chinese Interior Design. Through qualitative analysis, the study identifies the phenomenon of ‘unconscious philosophical resonance’ and develops a dual-pathway translation mechanism comprising atmospheric and semantic translation. The analysis demonstrates how the Five Colour System, along with Confucian, Daoist, and Zen …

  • Immune Dysregulation in Sars-CoV-2 patients coinfected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) or HIV in China

Open Access•Lei Li, Jianxiang Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2024

We found that SARS-CoV-2 patients coinfected with Mtb or HIV exhibited a longer disease duration and longer LOS, with a decrease in B cells and CD4 + T cells, suggesting that these cells are related to immune function. Changes in cytokine levels suggest that coinfection with Mtb or HIV does not result in dysregulation of the immune response. Importantly, we discovered a chronic course of coinfection involving more than four months of Mtb and SARS…

  • Construction of Ecological Security Patterns in Nature Reserves Based on Ecosystem Services and Circuit Theory

Open Access•Jianying Xu, Feifei Fan et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Facing the demands of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem service improvement, the spatial pattern optimization of nature reserves has always been a research topic of interest. However, there remains a lack of methodological guidance in the planning of nature reserves and the surrounding areas. To promote the landscape sustainability of nature reserves, we constructed ecological security patterns (ESPs) with two scenarios as a case study in W…
