  • A fNirs hyperscanning study on enhancing intimacy through emotional self-disclosure from the discloser-responder perspective

    Open Access•Ying Yu, Weijun Li•ARTICLE•BMC Psychology•2026

During social interactions, individuals often share their emotions with friends to enhance mutual intimacy. According to the interpersonal process model of intimacy, emotional disclosure predicts the development of intimacy, and a partner' s responsive behavior can further facilitate this process. However, how emotional self-disclosure and a partner' s response jointly influence intimacy and the underlying neural mechanisms in naturalistic conver…

  • Electrocortical signatures of attentional bias toward subliminal and supraliminal socially negative words in social anxiety

Open Access•Shuzhen Gan, Yuqi Cai et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

These results indicate that abnormal attentional bias of social anxiety includes both early preconscious attentional orienting to social threats and subsequent difficulty disengaging from conscious and unconscious social threats, as indexed by N2pc and parietal P3 components, respectively. Our study may hold clinical significance by providing electrophysiological markers for assessing the cognitive symptoms of social anxiety

  • The Internal Structure and Influence Mechanism of Double Qualified-Teachers’ Quality and Competence

Open Access•Qi Cheng, Cheng Ying Qi et al.•ARTICLE•Education and Urban Society•2025•References: 3

The construction of a “double qualified-teacher” teacher team in higher education institutions is the key to improving the quality of talent cultivation, and the research on the structure and mechanism of double qualified-teacher quality and ability is of great value to the deepening of theory and practical application. This study empirically explores the connotation structure and influence mechanism of double qualified-teacher quality and compet…

  • The neural processing of the interaction between accentuation and lexical prediction during spoken sentence comprehension

Open Access•Yan Yuan, Zhiren Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•Language and Cognition•2025•References: 85

Language comprehension requires integration of multiple cues, but the underlying mechanisms of how accentuation, as a significant prosodic feature, influences the processing of words with different levels of cloze probability remains unclear. This study exploits event-related potentials (ERPs) to examine the processing of accented and unaccented words with high-, medium-, and low-cloze probabilities embedded in the final position of highly constr…

  • A Recognizable Expression Line Portrait Synthesis Method in Portrait Rendering Robot

Open Access•Xiaoli Dong, Xin Ning et al.•ARTICLE•IEEE Transactions on Computational…•2024

An artistic line portrait robot can generate, process, and draw line portraits. Compared to real face images, line portraits lose some recognizable information. Maintaining recognizability during the process of expression edition of line portraits is an important challenge for artistic portrait robots. A recognizable expression line portrait synthesis method based on a triangle coordinate system (TCS) is proposed. First, based on public facial ex…

  • The effects of word and beat priming on Mandarin lexical stress recognition

    Open Access•Wenjing Yu, Yu-Fu Chien et al.•ARTICLE•Language and Cognition•2024

Music and language are unique communication tools in human society, where stress plays a crucial role. Many studies have examined the recognition of lexical stress in Indo-European languages using beat/rhythm priming, but few studies have examined the cross-domain relationship between musical and linguistic stress in tonal languages. The current study investigates how musical stress and lexical stress influence lexical stress recognition in Manda…

  • An EPR study of the cognitive processes underlying the impact of self-relevant information on emotional word processing

Open Access•Ping Zhang, Yidan Song et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Psychology•2024

Using the event-related potentials (ERPs) technique, this study successively presented names (in either a supra- or subthreshold manner) and emotional words to examine how self-relevant cue (self-name) affects emotional word processing in word class judgment task (to determine whether an emotional word is a noun or adjective) and valence judgment task (to determine whether an emotional word is positive or negative). At the suprathreshold conditio…

  • Aberrant neural correlates of multisensory processing of audiovisual social cues related to social anxiety

    Open Access•Shuzhen Gan, Weijun Li•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

The study revealed that neural correlates of multisensory processing was aberrant in SAD and it was related to the interpretation bias to multimodal social cues in multiple processing stages. Our findings suggest that deficit in multisensory processing might be an important factor in the psychopathology of SA

  • High-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation alleviates the cognitive side effects of electroconvulsive therapy in major depression

Open Access•Xing Chen, Tongtong Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2022

High-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation improved psychological anxiety and ameliorated the cognition impairment evoked by ECT though it had the same anti-depressant efficacy as ECT

  • Bilateral repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation ameliorated sleep disorder and hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis dysfunction in subjects with major depression

Open Access•Xing Chen, Fei Jiang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2022

Bilateral rTMS for 3 weeks palliated depression via improvement of sleep disorder, and plasma ACTH is a predictor for the efficacy of rTMS, especially in male patients with MDD

  • Musical training improves rhythm integrative processing of classical Chinese poem

Zhenghua Zhang, Mei Han et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2020

Long-term rigorous musical training changes the brain structure and function, which impacts speech processing. Many studies have demonstrated that subcortical and cortical neural plasticity interact to give musicians linguistic advantages, allowing them to construct more elaborate perceptions of speech signals than non-musicians. There is ample empirical support for integrative processing at the end of a sentence. Studies have found that particip…

  • Key Factors Identification and Risk Assessment for the Stability of Deep Surrounding Rock in Coal Roadway

Open Access•Dongmei Huang, Weijun Li et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

In order to evaluate the stability of deep surrounding rock, all of the affecting factors should be theoretically identified. However, some factors have slight impacts on the stability of deep surrounding rock compared with others. To conduct an effective risk assessment, key factors should be first extracted. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and grey relation analysis (GRA) methods are integrated to determine the key factors. First, the AHP …

  • The cognitive processing of contrastive focus and its relationship with pitch accent

Weijun Li, Jingjing Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2017
