Aesthetics of School Care
This article proposes the notion of “aesthetics of school care” as a conceptual and methodological tool for exploring how care is lived within schools. This study explores the rhetoric used by Andrew Tate, known as a ‘misogyny influencer’, and its impact on his followers. Tate released a vlog in response to his ban from social media. Asian portrayals in the media can affect viewers’ beliefs about Asians in real life. Based on questionnaire responses from 429 undergraduate students, this study sought to examine college students’ perceptions of Asians on television.
