    Liberia, like many other developing countries, follows the common custom of writing slogans and mottos on commercial vehicles.     This article focuses on the Supreme Court’s ruling to assess its equity and impact on the legitimacy of the presidency and the Court itself. It begins with a background that lays out the judicial process involved. Given the process and the Court’s decision, the issues of legitimacy and equity involved and some approaches for addressing them are discussed. The article concludes with a summary and a discussion of policy implications
