  • Health-related quality of life among healthcare workers

Open Access•Fatemeh Rezaei chegini, Mozhgan Seif et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

In our study, multiple linear regression and conditional forest performed equally well. Therefore, the associations between predictor variables and HRQoL were likely simple. In addition, demographic, clinical, and socioeconomic factors influence the HRQoL of HCWs. Recognizing and addressing these factors through targeted interventions and supportive policies can help improve the overall well-being and resilience of the HCWs

  • Sex differences in hypertension incidence and risk factors

Open Access•Abbas Rezaianzadeh, Masoumeh Ghoddusi Johari et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2024

This study identified key predictors of hypertension (HTN) with notable gender differences. For men, significant risk factors included age, high waist-to-height ratio, smoking, and opium use; for women, the prominent predictors were age, contraceptive use, pre-HTN, and kidney stones. These findings highlight the need for gender-specific strategies in HTN prevention and management, focusing on modifiable risk factors by gender
