Craniological Data on the Feudal Fragmentation Period in Rus
The paper presents the analysis of medieval craniological series from the territory of the European part of Russia and Belarus: Polotsk, Kursk, Pereyaslavl-Zalessky, Tver, Ples (Ivanovo region), Unorozh (Kostroma region) and Gochevo (Kursk region) using various statistical methods. The skeletal remains from two burials at the site, which later became known as Berendeevo I, were initially studied by N.N. Mamonova. The archaeological context in the article was mainly focused on the paleogeography and geomorphology of the site.
